Need an IT professional with experience as a Software Developer. This experience is relevant to one of my current openings.
The opening requires C#, WPF in addition to the above skills. It is located in Greenwood Village, CO.
Candidates must be fluent in C#, WPF and SQL. MUST HAVE WPF experience! Although web developers could be able to work in this role, Client doesn't want to do too much training. Will be open to these candidates if they also have the desktop applications experience. Must have a combination of DESKTOP & Web Dev--they will not take just Web Developers. Will be working with a team of 10+ on the re-platforming of a Client Legal product from Visual Basic to WPF. Must have 10+ years experience with developing DESKTOP applications (not web, etc). Contractors are required to work on-site at the Greenwood Village, CO location and the client would like to require local candidates only. Half of the team works out of other locations/remote and so workers must be comfortable interacting with a remote team. Each supplier may submit their top 3 candidates for consideration. Candidates will be shortlisted daily. Feedback and interview requests should be shared the following day of a candidate being shortlisted. When submitting candidates, please list their availability for phone interviews.
QUALIFICATIONS
• At least 10 years of hands-on software engineering experience (coding)
• At least 6 years of hands-on development of C# enterprise applications (coding)
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience with WPF using XAML for desktop application development (coding)
• At least 3 years of hands-on MS SQL Server programming experience using ADO.NET, T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and functions and general database design
• Additional technologies desired: MVVM and Expression Blend
• Knowledge of the legal review and EDRM process a plus
INDIVIDUAL EXPECTATIONS
• A comprehensive understanding of software development methodologies and the demonstrated ability to design and develop complex software systems using Microsoft Technologies
• Produce quality code according to system design and technical standards
• Participation in project time and task estimation, code and architecture reviews, and documentation of system architecture
• Transparent communication and definition of deliverables throughout all phases of the development life-cycle (project definition, process mapping, architecture, coding, acceptance testing, installation, turnover to support, etc.)
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Designs, develops, tests, debugs, maintains, and documents software components
• Adheres to standards for software development set forth by the organization
• Develops and communicates time estimates for project deliverables
• Designs and builds elements of integrated systems
• Maintains and enhances existing software components and systems
SKILLS
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving
• Must be self-motivated
• Customer oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• Strong organizational and analysis skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
• Thorough understanding of application design and development
EDUCATION
BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience
