Calm down, all of us! Let us hold our fire! We are still bickering! For ever bickering! Where will this take us. No quarrelsome, divided and divisive people ever liberate and govern themselves! Each of us has merit and we must learn to see merit in each other.

THE REPUBLIC OF THE SOUTHERN CAMEROONS

THE GOVERNING COUNCIL OF THE SOUTHERN CAMEROONS

The Chairman of the Governing Council of the Southern Cameroons, Mr. Shey Sembe, presently on an important mission abroad has asked that I should write this rebuttal on the subject area of this E-mail. Before I should even go ahead to say anything, a lot of concerned Southern Cameroonians including Dr. Christopher Atang who happens to be a member of this Council have questioned the so called deal with a nonexistent Southern Cameroons government. There are a lot of questions left unanswered by the publication of this so called deal. Let us even pretend that a deal has been signed! is the Internet the place where it is to be published? A lot of deals have been signed by so many "governments" of the Southern Cameroons and none of those deals were never published on the Internet. Why do we like to go into so much grandstanding?

We think that the publication of this hoax is meant to derail what the Governing Council has been up to in recent months. The Council thinks that there is no such deal, and so is urging Southern Cameroonians and members of the Governing Council which is going to be enlarged very soon to remain steadfast and continue to work toward the restoration of the independence of their beloved country.

I want to take the time to indicate to you all that this so called deal is not to be taken to mean anything because the rich history of the Southern Cameroons has even been falsified by saying that we were a UN Trust territory from 1919. In 1919, the Southern Cameroons was Mandated territory of the League of Nations under UK administration.

       PLEASE NOTE!!!!
IF BY SOME ERROR, SOMEONE HAS ARRANGED A DEAL LIKE THIS ONE, IT WOULD BE NULL AND VOID ONCE THE SOUTHERN CAMEROONS ATTAINS STATEHOOD VERY SOON. THIS SHOULD ALSO APPLY TO OTHER DEALS IN THE SAME LINES SIGNED BY THE GOVERNMENT OF LA REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN. THOSE DEALS WOULD HAVE TO BE RENEGOTIATED UNDER NEW TERMS AND ARRANGEMENTS THAT DO NOT CONTINUE TO LEAVE US UNDER SERVITUDE.

Thank you all

Cameroons(SGGCSC)
