Job Title:  Citrix Engineer

Location: North brook, Chicago, IL

Duration: 6 Months (and beyond)

 

Responsibilities:

Load testing and reporting

·         Citrix Edge sight deployment, monitoring and load testing.

·         Process documentation\development

Legacy Environment support:

·         Presentation server 4.5 environment maintenance

·         Application packaging (citrix profiler) and troubleshooting

·         Netscaler administration

·         Performs highly complex/technical root cause analysis 

·         Environment performance monitoring and capacity management

 Legacy Migration:

·         Requirements analysis/documentation for technology deployments

·         Application Compatibility analysis and remediation for XenApp / Win7

·         User migration from legacy to new environment

·         Design/Implementation of medium to complex projects in the Citrix technology stack

·         Change management for Test, Pre production and Production

VDI support

·         XenApp 6.1 deployment and administration

·         XenDesktop deployment and administration

·         Advanced troubleshooting

·         App-sense deployment and administration

 

Experience:

• Minimum 5-8 years of with hands-on experience in implementation of Presentation Server 4.5, XenApp 4.0 – 6.5, CAG, edge sight, XenDesktop, Xenserver, streaming profiler.

               

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Design, build and migration of Citrix environment. Excellent communication skills.
