There might be an open clash. should the soldiers go there for the third time. The locals said they are waiting for them Authorities are saying nothing. officially

Yesterday Nov 2 again the same scenario occured. the soldiers went there again as early as six am. this time at Japoma Lycee. the second punitive move recorded many more casualties. more broken head, lips, property smashed. of the six locals earlier arrested five have been freed.

The Com Genie Militaire threatens sanctions.

Compelling story. Was the soldier identified. Around what time did this take place? Are authorities envisaging any measures? How common is this, soldiers beating up civilians because one of theirs is touched? What was the soldier suspected of stealing? Kindly update. Thanks.

It happened early this moning precisely in the Japoma Chateau area. The locals arrested a suspected thief was arrested and badly beaten. he is reported to have said he was a soldier but  without presenting documents according to witnessess was manhandled. He called for reinforcement. It was about 6 am.

The soldiers came onboard a truck, smashed a car and the doors of houses, beat up women men and children. 6 of them were bundled and are been detained at Bakoko Gendarmerie brigade. A student lost his right eye.

I hear the action was carried out by elements of  the military engineering ( Genie M)
