Hi Strangers! I'll admit, I've been scarce. However, something happened today and I wanted input. I have fantastic patients. They bring homemade goodies, fruit, etc. They really go above and beyond at Christmas. Today, I had a male patient bring me a self-decorated, slightly creepy miniature Christmas tree. Attached was a note thanking me for taking care of his teeth and he signed it, "I love you." I would just blow it off, however, this is the same patient who brought in my favorite candy and a "mixed" CD a few months ago. Any thoughts on how to handle this? I usually send thank you notes, but I'm thinking I may just let this one slide.
