Re: TO OUR LESA USA SISTERS

The Tug of War between our lovely Lessan  Sisters is simply a matter of "Mah Calcul, Mah Plan". If instead of putting your money in the left pocket, you "Mistakenly" put it in the right side; Is the money LOST? Why are people "humbugging" us with this LESA USA, Inc and LESA USA Alumnae business? Those sistas are very capable and they will solve their small differences eventually. Wuna no come DIE house cry pass peepoo wey dem get die. My mblallas and Sista dem...there is no Faya in the Our "Ladies" of Lourdes  house here. It is simply called the New Trend...BICOS their big Sister organization, (and because of pacharity, you people have refused to discuss dat one) QRC OKOYONG actually has four USA Associations "Functioning" very normally. I hia say there is: Okoyong USA, Inc, Okoyong USA Alumnae, National USA Okoyong Inc and The Real Okoyong Ex-Students International Chapter USA Association Limited. Our Lady of Lourdes Ex Students are even very modest to have only TWO groups. Since Lessans are greater in number than most other associations, I will encourage them to have at least FIVE Associations. USA is very big. There is no rationale for anyone working in Maine to be attending monthly meetings in Orlando, Florida whether via webinar, seminar, Webcam, and that new one called Tele-Conference or whatever. (Na which kind wahala be dat. U sit in your room and are discussing with one hundred people on the phone..without knowing their facial expressions and bodily mannerisms...Me I have refused that kind of interaction). I like face to face langua. Even that nonsense of talking on the phone and seeing the person you are talking to...is pure NYONGO. I am old school.

Subject: TO OUR LESA USA SISTERS

It is really regrettable that this is happening to one of the most productive and dynamic groups in our society. The ladies on both sides of this divide are very great and resourceful members of our society and I have nothing but high respect for all of them and appreciation for what they represent. My hope is that they will go through the current storm with grace and dignity and come out of this stronger and more focus to restore the bonds of their known and valued sisterhood to allow them continue to tap into the pouring fountains of God's grace and blessings that He has channelled through them, using them as vessels to feed the poor, educate the less privileged and cloth the naked.

I wish you all only the best. I take no sides but pray that God will guide you through this period or great trials. I need all of you. We need all of you. Our community and country and our people need all of you.

With love always.

Christmas Ebini
