Fwd: [ACEsthetics] Ozone Congress Success

Subject: [ACEsthetics] Ozone Congress Success

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned  Dr.  Silvia Menendez. She has been known as the "Cuban Mother of Ozone".  She has cured or at the minimum, improved the quality of life for many different conditions:
Below I highlighted what I thought was fascinating from this link below: (as a side
note, many of the speakers emphasized how optimal nutrition and diet is critical !!!
Thanks for organizing a great symposium!!! Debbie Reiner

Ozone

DrSilvia Menendez, the co-founder of Cuba's Department of Ozone Department (part of the prestigious National Center for Scientific Research in Havana), ...
A: Ozone (O3) is an energized form of oxygen with extra electrons. It forms the protective ozone layer around the planet, yet becomes a pollutant when mixed with hydrocarbons (like carbon dioxide) and nitrogen oxide from automobile and factory emissions. Because scientists have focused on the negative effects of inhaled ozone, the medicinal aspects of the gas when applied intravenously or through the skin have been largely overlooked.

Because ozone was found to be an effective bactericide and fungicide during the mid-1800's, it was first used to purify drinking water in a number of European cities. Today, over 2000 municipalities around the world- including Montreal, Paris, Los Angeles and Moscow- purify their drinking water with ozone. However, ozone was not used medically until 1915, when it was found to be an effective disinfectant of wounds and skin diseases in Germany during the First World War. It was later found that ozone has t he ability to "blast" holes through the membranes of viruses, yeasts, bacteria and abnormal tissue cells and therefore killing them. Ozone was the focus of considerable research in Germany during the 1930's where it was successfully used to treat patients suffering from inflammatory bowel disorders, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease and chronic bacterial diarrhea. The four primary ways to administer medical ozone include:
  1. Autohemotherapy, which involves removing about one half pint of blood from the patient, adding ozone and oxygen to the blood, and infusing the blood back to the patient.
  2. Rectal insufflations, in which ozone and oxygen is administered as a rectal enema. The ozone/oxygen mixture is then absorbed through the large intestine.
  3. Ozone "bagging", which involves having an airtight bag placed around the area to be treated. A mixture of ozone and oxygen is pumped into the bag and absorbed through the skin.
  4. Ozone is also used externally in the form of ozonated olive or sunflower oil.
Q; What types of diseases can be treated with ozone and hydrogen peroxide?
A: Bio-oxidative therapies offer a tremendous range of medical applications.  According to the International Bio-Oxidative Medical Foundation (IBOMF), an Oklahoma-based organization devoted to research and education about these therapies, the following conditions or diseases have been treated with ozone and hydrogen peroxide with varying degrees of success:
Heart and Blood Vessel Diseases
  Peripheral vascular disease (poor circulation)
Cerebral vascular disease (stroke and memory loss)
  Cardiovascular disease (heart disease)
  Coronary spasm (angina)
  Cardioconversion (heart stopped)
  Cardiac arrhythmias (irregular heartbeat)
  Gangrene (of fingers and toes)
  Raynaud's disease ("white finger")
Temporal arteritis (inflammation of the temporal artery)
  Vascular and cluster headaches
Pulmonary Diseases
  Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
  Emphysema
  Asthma
Bronchiectasis (dilatation of bronchus or bronchi)
Pneumocystis carinii (PCP or AIDS-related pneumonia)
  Chronic bronchitis
 Infectious Diseases
  Influenza
  Herpes zoster (shingles)
  Herpes simplex (fever blister)
  Systemic chronic candidiasis (candida)
  Epstein-Barr virus (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome)
  HIV-related infections
  Acute and chronic viral infections
  Chronic unresponsive bacterial infections
  Parasitic infections
 Immune Disorders
  Multiple sclerosis
  Rheumatoid arthritis
  Diabetes mellitus Type II
Hypersensitive reactions (environmental and universal reactors)
 Other Diseases
  Parkinson's Disease
  Alzheimer's Disease
  Migraine headaches
Chronic pain syndromes (due to multiple causes)
  Pain of metastatic carcinoma
Cancers of the blood and lymph nodes 4

Would encourage US Ozone Pathfinders who have been through our program to consider doing Mollica/Harris, too.  They take a somewhat different tack as naturopaths, although lately have added some more dental material to their programs.

They talk about homeopathics and some other therapies that are not part of my arsenal.

Our programs are very practically oriented, and participants end up with two complete ozone systems to be set up at the office the next day.  Next one's in March.  The other program requires students to obtain their own systems, usually from Longevity.

Our teaching cadre of Zaremski, Menasco and Duval also can come out to individual offices and get them all set up.

It was great being a part of this IAOHD congress and Bill Domb, Eric Zaremski, Matt Manesco, Mark Weiser, Julian Holmes, Bill Touhig and all the speakers and support staff did a great job in putting on this event.  With the array of International speakers you couldn't help but come out of the event with your mind aching from all the information that was disseminated even if you were only half listening.   Had plenty of conversations with Keith Hollander, John Highsmith, Suz Ahnquist, Tim Rainey, Bill Mueller and many others and we all were amazed.  Ozonotherapies are an integral part of most of our practices and for those that were just testing the water I can't imagine that they too will not now be immersed.  Quite a while ago I had set up a meeting that will be at my office in St Paul Minnesota on March 8th and 9th with Dr's Phil Mollica and Bob Harris presenting on the use of Ozone in the Dental Practice.  I just wanted to let everyone here n Ace know what there are a few spots left that you can begin your journey.  I Know that Bill Domb is doing some courses too so it's time to get involved and see what this excitement is all about.   Go to either  ozonefordentistry.com or ozonecourse.com to sign up for one of their (Mollica and Harris's) courses or contact Bill Domb about one of his courses.  Whatever you do just get started.  I can't imagine practicing Dentistry without the Use of Ozone anymore.  I would love to see many of you come to MN in March and either start your journey or continue the exciting trek.

On another note, I would highly encourage you to check out the IAOHD and consider joining at www.IAOHD.org .  Much of the information from the Congress will eventually be on this site but you will have to be a member to access the information and literature reviews and articles that are on this site.
