Graduation from a 4-year college or university with major course work in a discipline related to the requirements of the position is preferred. Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job.
Duties:
The developer will design and develop new operational and business intelligence reports, troubleshoot current reports, and enhance existing reports. The developer will be responsible for analyzing and validating report specifications, designing efficient solutions, and developing reports using best practices. The developer also will be responsible for identifying problems and performing necessary updates and testing to existing reports. This position will also guarantee the performance integrity and quality of reports, ensure report performance and resolve problems, maintain database dictionaries and report guides, and coordinates with other IT departments to ensure implementation and monitoring of reports.
1. Analyzes report requirements to fulfill customer needs.
2. Monitors and responds to server automated notifications.
3. Provides report support to all consumers of the company intranet reports.
4. Troubleshoots/resolves help desk tickets in accordance with all SLA established timeframes.
5. Installs all report impacted project objects into UAT and Production environments. (RDL files and updates Sharepoint Report Guides)
6. Improves Report development by providing guidance and/or documentation on better report development techniques.
7. Follows the Software Development Life Cycle policies and procedures.
8. Promotes enterprise conversion of access and crystal report to a standardized SQL Server Reporting Services format.
9. Review and update stored procedures within SSIS packages
10. Review and determine data sources and functionality of stored procedures
11. Document data sources and functionality of stored procedures
12. Determine proper data mapping to meet functional needs
13. Perform in depth unit testing and review of all work performed
