RE: [ACEsthetics] 'not one migraine since you did this!'

And every soul that saw here knew she had her teeth done.  That’s fine but that just ain’t natural.  I did one in A1…front six I think and Ultimate Styles did them.  On the dies they looked ay darker than A1…might have been 2.  Put them in and they were just drop dead gorgeous…might have been the splint case.  They can be light and made to look natural.  Mila explained the difference between World and Ultimate Styles doing these cases.  World might use ten layers of porcelain to get our shade.  Ultimate Styles uses 16+ layers of porcelain to the that beauty that I love.

Guy in San Diego most if not all of my smile design or bigger cases are in the 020, 030, 040 shade men or women. I had an FMR case on a 60 year old female in the 020,030. She said that all my friends are doing plastics to look younger and I want my mouth done in that color to look younger. Well she did look 10 years younger when we finished her case.

Beautiful case, Ray.  It is amazing to me that men want these teeth this white.  I did the upper arch on a guy a few months ago and he wanted this type shade.  He went from an A4 to a 020 bleaching shade.  In cases in the past I’ve opened like this, I’ve simply found a comfortable opening and used stops to set them in a CO that they are used to.  I had a case that was going to have to have ortho and the orthodontist asked me if I wanted him to open him up while he was in there and get a good occlusion.  Well, hell yes.  Talk about easy…opened him four mms.  He had a buddy who owned a lab in Florida and wanted me to use him for a discount.  It was a massive discount…N/C.  I took off World’s fee…what it would have been.  The guy did a great job but not that great.  I hate it when they come in and tell me their sister’s husband owns a lab.  I’m stuck.  This one turned out pretty good…e.max all the way…solid in the posterior and layered in anterior.  Lower next year…I hate lower anteriors.  These will be zirconia.

This guy hasn't been in for going on 4 years, when we finished his FMR.. He figured once his dental work was completed, he wouldn't need much else.
Well, now he has some 3-6 mm pocketing throughout, so we've got to get him back in for some S/RP, but the remarkable thing he told me yesterday, was that ever since we restored his teeth, he said, "I haven't had ONE migraine headache, since!'

We found his occlusion via NTI and a form of Golden Shimbashi. (And some good old fashioned Pete Dawson manipulation too). This was before I had a TENs unit.

This points out that you can get to a comfortable occlusion in many different ways.

Too bad his perio isn't in order because his tetracycline stained teeth restoration and occlusion is holding up spectacularly!
What brought him in?
His breath he said!

He said yesterday he "LOVES his teeth" and gets all kinds of complements on them all the time.
:-)
Life is good!
Ray

BTW, could NOT post this on ACE Dental World for some reason. Both loading it thru Chrome and Explorer just didn't work! Sorry!
