Thanks for sharing this nice PPT. We all know that both Mahabharat and Ramayan are not Epics but historical facts. The invasion of foreigners has not only resulted in looting the physical wealth of the country but much more damage was done to our civilisation and history which are one of the oldest in the world. In a very clever and shrewd way Sanskrit was replaced by English . One has to be open minded always and accept the good where ever it is. Knowing English language is good but completely discarding Sanskrit has resulted in we Indians not knowing our own history and civilisation as we have been taught about our civilisation and history through English language which is a distortion of facts on our ancient civilisation and history. Theory of Pythogarus, Theory of Gravity,Atoms and many others ,our Rishis and ancient scientists had discovered the same much before the modern day scientists .Threre fore Literature is no exception and Kalidas is mentioned as Shakespeare of India ,whereas it should be the other way around. The gurukul education system was demolished and replaced by British education with the main objective of creating employees to manage their administration network. This led to memorising the study material and writing the exams with the main objective of acquiring degrees to get jobs, which continues even today. As a result creativity and analytical thinking have taken back seat. The quality of our education has suffered a lot. To rebuild the nation with core structures and values a paradigm shift is needed with a concerted effort and this monumental task may need two to three generations of collective and continuous efforts.

dear All Thanks for sharing PPT on Mahabharatha as well as our slavery attitude in accepting (proclaiming?) Samudra Gupta and Kalidasa are equivalent to some recent hero's of Europe (they lived thousand years before these European's born! There were many more lessons from Mahabharatha, especially for management people. Ethical behaviour- depends on context and it is relative- helps in understanding escalation of commitment, which ruined many modern organisations. Hello, Thanks for sharing. Kindly make one change in the second slide - Mahabarata is not an Epic, it is prooved and also we can still see proof even today to prove that Mahabaratha happened. Western and Marxist Historians have spoiled entire Indian History by always deviating the correct history. Such type of blunders can be seen when they refer Samudra Gupta to Indian Nepolean and Kalidasa to Indian Shakespear and we people still teach our kids the same blunders. regards, kaushik
