Job Role : Sr. Performance Tester
Work Location : Schaumburg, IL
Duration : 6-12 Months
Required Skills:
- The incumbent is a Senior Performance Specialist who will be expected to participate in all aspects of Performance Testing and Monitoring work.
- This will include both analytical and creation of detailed Performance Test Plans.
- Performance Specialists work in close coordination with developers to effect proper testing protocols, aid in system tuning and review and advise on new system upgrades and implementations.
- They interface with Project Leads and Developers to design and create new models and assist on deliveries.
- Performance Specialists often are expected to interact with Development Teams to resolve performance and end-user issues.
- They also work closely with system administrators to help define platform requirements, to effect performance tuning and capacity planning of Test and Production systems.
- Performance Specialists interact with Web administrators and developers to provide input on system tuning and diagnostic procedures.
- Performance Specialists interact with Security administrators to define security standards and to enforce security practices.
- Finally Performance Specialists are expected to document the work they are performing as per the Infrastructure team standards as required by his / her supervisor.
