Re: [ACEsthetics] Determined to See

My mother-in –law has RP and has been legally blind for many years. They found it when she was learning to drive and sideswiped several cars. An expensive way to find something out! Unfortunately, she grew up in a time where people kept "family problems" a secret. She never learned Braille or how to get around on her own. She never went to any support groups.  She is totally dependent on others. Sounds like your daughters are doing everything right. Good luck and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Subject: [ACEsthetics] Determined to See

Two of my three children have a congenital eye disease that causes blindness. It's called RP.

Here is a blog about my daughter. If you know someone with RP, please pass it on.
