I think that Endo is 60% total cleaning of the canal system, 30% disinfecting the whole thing and 40% a good, dense fill- Yogi Berra!

So, Guy, are you using something like a McSpadden condenser in your slow speed to plastisize the GP?  You know, fit the GP to the last 2mm and plasticize the rest to fill in all irregularities?

As some of you know I use an obturation system named after Jerry Avillion…System A.  It involves plasticizing the obturant be it a large single cone or cold lateral into a warm mass and condensing.  I did four teeth yesterday that are sort of ideal to his technique of taking a GT 20/0.08 one mm past the apex to fill that portion of the canal past the constriction with sealer but not totally destroying the constriction.  Note the condensed material and the sealer moving out the prepared canal after constriction.  I even got a bonus with a furcal accessory. We never found of cause of 6 going hot on us other than maybe traumatic occlusion. That GT made that curve on the distal of the molar out one mm.  I wonder where Jerry picked this up.  Jerry is back up and posting on IDF. Not practicing again but talking about it.   Guy
