When talking about fees why can't things be given in a range from lowest to highest? 

 

maybe something like this:

that is my thoughts on handling these types of messages ... I'm sure other offices do things differently

For instance, Biolase is offering a new scanner that will give its data in a open format, so that any lab can use it (supposedly different from other scanners) and it sounded really great when the techie sales guy was telling me about it, and I just wanted a ball park figure and he said around thirty thousand, and that was all I needed to know. I wasn't ready to buy, but I wanted to know if it was in my price range. That's how many patients are- "Just give me an idea and treat me like I was a competent human being!".

 

I don't know the answers here, but I am working on it, and it is way counterintuitive to how we have operated for the past 40 years, but there is a germ of a good idea in there, a way to interact with courtesy and transparency, even without knowing all of the needed facts!

This is becoming an all too frequent occurrence.  I got this from an inquire on my Web site.  How would you all answer this?

 

Unfortunaley I am looking at least a partial denture soon. Before we go any further I would like an estimate of the range for dentures? a full mouth $......... a partial$......... just so I have an ideal on how much I can expect. I heard from others they range from 1,0000 a set to 2,0000 if they are much more then what are the differences?? I am not ready to do anything yet but, I would appreciate just a ball park figure Dr. Siegal.
