"Sorry to hear you've been told you're going to need a partial denture soon.  What a pain.  Wondering what cause your loss of teeth, etc.  Hard to say what sorts of costs you are looking at.  It's really not like walking into a market and picking up a box of cereal off a shelf.  If that was the case,  you'd just look for the market that has the best price in town.

 

"Wish we could say things were that simple.

 

"For instance, some people need a variety of things done to prepare a decent FOUNDATION if they're to have a partial that they can comfortably wear.

 

"Some people have many other options and might not even have to have an appliance that moves around and that they have to take in and out.

 

"And there are many different types of partials, some of which are better than others.

 

"So, it's hard to answer your question very well.  Our best suggestion is to arrange to pop in for a short, complimentary get-acquainted visit and see if our office feels like a comfortable place to attend to your dental needs. 

 

"If not, we might be able to suggest other offices that might be able to help you better.  And, if we do feel like a good fit, then we'll get together for some detailed records and study EXACTLY what your options are then give you our thorough analysis so you can decide what seems best for you."

This is becoming an all too frequent occurrence.  I got this from an inquire on my Web site.  How would you all answer this?

Unfortunaley I am looking at least a partial denture soon. Before we go any further I would like an estimate of the range for dentures? a full mouth $......... a partial$......... just so I have an ideal on how much I can expect. I heard from others they range from 1,0000 a set to 2,0000 if they are much more then what are the differences?? I am not ready to do anything yet but, I would appreciate just a ball park figure Dr. Siegal.
