We've Urgent requirement with one of our client for Optimize MySQL database performance Job opening Location SFO, CA

Title: Optimize MySQL database performance

Location : SFO, CA 

Duration: 6 Months Contract

 

Job Description:

·         Optimize MySQL database performance

·         Estimate MySQL database capacities and develop methods for monitoring database capacity and usage

·         Establish mechanisms for data backup/restore of relational databases and provide restoration services as needed

·         Develop and optimize physical design of MySQL database systems

·         Develop application-specific fault-tolerant distributed database mechanisms

·         Demonstrated experience with relational database physical design, performance tuning, and capacity planning

·         5+ years of database experience working in a production environment

·         Strong fundamental knowledge of MySQL databases

·         Experience with distributed database systems

·         Experience with one or more of the following; Shell Scripting, Perl, Python
