You might want to read Seth Godin's new book, "The Icarius Deception" which is about how we are seeing the end of the industrial age, and the beginning of a connected, information rich age. The end result of the industrial age is almost predictable- where you can get mass produced things cheaper and more easily, and how tomorrow's successes will be businesses and people who are unique, trusted, able to be creative in words and actions. Really interesting to think about. I recommend it highly.
