RE: [ACEsthetics] non vital tooth

Ken, I used the leave them alone until I had a pretty solid series of blowups and large lesions develop.  If it is a good patient I can xray every six months I’ll watch.  If it is a patchy patient I do the endo.  Not watching stuff and going ahead with endo on stuff that I knew was going to blow like some pulp caps I tried I’ve had many fewer calls at night.

I'm having a discussion with my staff.  Would you consider a non-vital tooth to be infected or can it just be left alone.
