In the case of many of our business schools , the creation of analystical skills is even more suspect than the leadership and execution abilities.



What the country needs is fifty top class B-schools instead we have hundreds of mediocres !

Henry Mintzberg famously stated that: "Conventional MBA programmes train the wrong people in the wrong ways with the wrong consequences." He also commented on the curriculum of business schools stating that: "Business schools create MBAs with good analytical skills—rather than 'managers' with genuine leadership and execution abilities". Therefore, it will be more appropriate to say that it is the business schools are at crossroads rather than saying that business education is at crossroads.
