Re: [MTC Global] [Weekend Big Debate] Answer Lies Within

If both the mind and the body are involved in any activity your participative spirits will be very high. Education / Learning is like driving a car. All the limbs, Mind, Eyes, Ears, sometimes Nose ( smelling petrol) will be in action  while driving. If any organ fail in their senses there will be adverse result. Therefore, both the teaching and learning  must be like driving a car where both intellectual, mental and physical controls are invariably required to achieve the desired results. These sensory controls are there in Yoga practice, Dance  and  karate but not in subject teaching which has to invariably designed.

In all the three activities , there is a physical involvement of the student and he cannot participate without paying attention and following the instruction. If we can make subject teaching also a two way affair, students will start enjoying it and they will start participating and paying attention.
