DIRECT END CLIENT
 
POSITION:  Sr. JAVA DEVELOPER
LOCATION:  LANSING, MI
TERM:  1 year +
INTERVIEW TYPE:  PHONE – 2 INTERVIEWS REQUIRED

 
NOTE: US CITIZENS ONLY
 
We are seeking candidates with the following skills: 
 
Required:

• Solid Java and J2EE development skills with 8+ years J2EE experience.
• Solid 8+ years hands-on experience with Web and Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) container models.
• Solid  4+ years experience in SQL and Oracle.
• Understanding of MVC frameworks like Struts.
• Solid understanding of the java collections framework.
• Hands-on experience with multiple J2EE persistence strategies (DAO, OR-mapping, JDBC, transaction demarcation).
• Hands-on experience with Concurrency Management, Messaging and transaction demarcation.
• Object-oriented and service-oriented design concepts, including knowledge of data transfer objects and associated design patterns.
• Knowledge of UML.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to solicit and formalize requirements and work with end users/customers.
• Ability to work in a semi-structured environment where requirements and priorities are dynamic.
• Recent experience with Oracle Weblogic 9.x and greater.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.

 
Highly Desirable:

• Experience with agile development methodology
• Experience with Test Driven Design (TDD) methodology
• Java Server Faces (JSF) technology knowledge and experience.
