Job Title: J2EE Developer

Location: Plano, TX

Length: 9+ months

 

Mandatory Skills:

· Strong development experience with core Java 5/6.

· Experience developing web-applications from scratch using MVC framework, JSP, JSTL and related technologies.

· Experience using any MVC framework, preferably Spring MVC

· Experience using Spring Framework

· Experience using any JPA framework, preferably Hibernate

· Experience using Java Script frameworks, preferably jQuery/Ext-JS

· Experience working with Relational Database along with good understanding of SQL concepts (queries, stored procedures etc.)

· Experience using any popular application servers (Preferably JBoss)

· Self-learner and can work independently with minimal direction/oversight

· Good problem solving skills and positive attitude towards resolving any issues.

 

Preferred Skills:

· Experience working in an Agile environment

· Prior Test Driven Development experience, writing unit tests using JUnit.

· Experience using AJAX

· Experience developing web-services (Preferably using Apache Axis)

· Experience using IDE's for development

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Analyze business requirements and develop technical design documents

· Develop software as per user stories

· Write unit test cases using JUnit, to ensure code coverage

· Provide QA support for developed software

· Follow established process, policies and standards to assure compliance with application and

corporate policies and standards

·  Ability to communicate issues and recommend solutions in a timely manner to Management
