RE: [MTC Global] MCA Program--Present & Future

I think reason is slump in IT industry and non-availability of opportunity. A very interesting aspect that I got to know from some of my IT friends that instead of taking MCA, they prefer to engage BCA graduates who are available at lesser salary and have to be given as much training as MCA students. Secondly, these young boys come with lot more energy and lot more quest for learning than post graduates. Looking to the fact that young students become computer savvy because of exposure and use at very young age, I would not be surprised that computer application program becomes irrelevant  and companies start hiring fresh graduates of XII pass even.

Subject: [MTC Global] MCA Program--Present & Future

MCA program was the brain child of our former Prime Minster [L] Rajiv Gandhi. The program was doing very well since then. During last few years many states have stopped the program. Faculty are really worried in the existing MCA Departments.

Many affiliated colleges also have closed the MCA Department similar like Bio-Technology [most of the engineering colleges have closed this department].
