Sabbath Exhortation to Rev. Taku, Br. Nting and all Christians in these e-Groups: Patiently Endure

The Ministry of a Prophet does three things - 1. exhorts 2. strengthens 3 comforts the people of God or the children of God or the Christians. 1 Corinthians 14: 1-3.

The Lord Jesus told us to CARRY our CROSS and FOLLOW HIM: Carry YOUR Cross, your own CROSS.
Not Jesus's CROSS - your own! Have you identified your CROSS? Do you know why the Lord God put you here on earth? Have you identified your MISSION and your PURPOSE? What is your own CROSS?

See something. The Lord Jesus had a MISSION and a PURPOSE. His Mission was to save mankind. His purpose was to DIE!!!! - Carry HIS CROSS and be crucified with his own CROSS!!!!

Apostle Paul specifically admonishes us to run the race that is set before us and to run that race as if we must be the ONE to win the PRIZE!

But let me set some foundation: Who is a Christian? There are at least 8 points that go in to codify the Christian but I will leave many of them for another time. I want us to look at one long-hidden MYSTERY of a definition of a Christian and how it relates to ENDURANCE.

I will want us to look at Luke 9 from Verse 18 - in King James' version or the original version - to see how it relates to the CHRISTIAN and the MISSION and PURPOSE and CROSS of a Christian.

Luke 9:18. The Lord Jesus asked his disciples: Who do people say I am? Some of them fumbled until Peter gave the right answer.

18 And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying, Whom say the people that I am?

 19 They answering said, John the Baptist; but some say, Elias; and others say, that one of the old prophets is risen again.

 20  He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God.

 Notice Peter's answer - THE CHRIST OF GOD!

The Lord Jesus is the CHRIST OF GOD! He is the ANOINTED and the EMPOWERED ONE of GOD and as he is so are we in this WORLD if, especially, we BELIEVE in our HEARTS and CONFESS with our MOUTH that this thing is so.

To believe and hence to be like-CHRIST or a Christian is a CHOICE.

You decide to BELIEVE and you make a CHOICE not to believe!

But when you BELIEVE you are also empowered and emboldened to be, for example, the Rexon Nting form of Christ and then you will be empowered by the Holy Spirit or the Christ in you to carry your own cross.

20  He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God.

 21 And he straitly charged them, and commanded them to tell no man that thing;

 22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.

 23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

 24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

 25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

 26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.

 27 But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.

Also consider the following Scriptures.

Eze 22:14 Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I the LORD have spoken it, and will do it.

 Mt 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

 Mr 4:17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended. {offended: or, stumbled, or, caused to fall into sin}

 Mr 13:13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

 2Th 1:4 So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:

 2Ti 2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

 2Ti 2:10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

 2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

 2Ti 4:5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. {make...; or, fulfil}

 Heb 12:7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

 Heb 12:20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:

Why am I bringing this up? Are you a Christian? What is your own CROSS? Know this, you have been EMBOLDENED or EMPOWERED to carry that CROSS - by the CHRIST IN YOU!!! See Galatians 2:20 and Colosians 1:26-27. So when some Scribes and Pharisees attack you in these chambers because of the TRUTH and RIGHTEOUSNESS...KEEP WALKING..CHRIST IN YOU..the Hope of Glory.
