I have just hired a gal who really could be a superstar in dentistry, but has very little dental experience. However, she has some great SALES experience, actually sold Kirby vacuum cleaners for several years, and has some great business background.

I really want to give her some good dental training so she be a backup assistant, and gradually move into more of a consultative role.

In your experience, how long has it taken for a sharp person to "get it", and be a contributor?
