Just got informed by our computer software/hardware vendor that HIPPA is going to require the screen saver /log off system to kick in very quickly and we will supposedly have no control over this function in the very near future. We wanted to increase the time before it logs us off here at the office and they (Kapricorn) said we can't control that, and HIPPA is planning on making the time even LESS before it kicks you out of the system and requires you to log back in (in like 5 minutes!).
Imagine your hygienist all gloved up, or your photos or xrays on the screen during an appointment and you have to hit the keyboard to 'wake it up' again and even worse, log back on again! WTF?!?!?!?!?
WHAT NEXT?!?!?!?
