With the revenue growth of Infosys way below its competitors the apprehension of Board members was understandable and lot of parlays went on behind the board rooms... and KV Kamath stepped down to be Joint Independent director paving the way for Narayanamurthy to assume the office of Executive Chairman. His son is waiting in the wings to learn the trircks of trade from his experienced guide, mentor & father. Hopefully they will steer the ship of Infosys which was in rough weather conditions and turn it around to its earlier glory.

It sounds great. Hope, Infosys will be on the growth track again. He holds good number of shares in Infosys as a founder member hence the salary is not relevant. But definitely, he will be entitled for all other fringe benefits amounts to few lakhs / crores.
