That's an Welcome change . With all due respect to K V Kamath ,  I hope Naryanmurthy's presence will bring a very important component which was missing earlier in Infy , ....its social vision - It proves a point , you just cant run some companies with only bottom line and financial goals, you need a strong topline too . Infy was not a regular backoffice IT company for the US fortune 500 , it was a poster boy for Indian Economic success which started around early 21st century and have lost track now .

You can just see that from there strategic moves in earlier times , while other companies are focusing on raising the volumes of work , Infy was trying to move up in the value chain and targeting for Strategic consulting space from where major IT jobs orginate . That thinking ahead of time , made an Infy an Infy , what they use to say as there motto earlier " Driven by Vision , Powered by Intellect" . It was one of my favorite case studies which I use to discuss in my Organisational leadership classes. Earlier it had even a full fledged leadership development institute inside the campus.

However , not sure whether the old recipe would work . But definitely the man who made it , would know ways and means to redesign the old recipe according to the needs of time.
