Need someone that has SharePoint 2010 development, administration, and architecture



experience.  They have to have experience with SharePoint 2010. Would also like for them to have



experience in C# and .net development outside of SharePoint.

Position Description



Under the direction of the Applications Manager, the SharePoint/.NET Developer is responsible for



creating technical specifications from business requirements, developing reusable web and database



code components using C#, ASP.NET, XML and SQL, and integrating with third party web parts and APIs.



SharePoint Development includes design and coding with SQL Server and SharePoint Server 2010. The



developer must be able to manage multiple concurrent priorities spanning new software development



projects as well as applications maintenance and support.



Individual must have a strong technical foundation as well as a full understanding of common coding



standards, configuration management, and full life cycle systems development. Be able to work



effectively with other developers and non-technical staff from other departments. Have the ability to



present complex technical information to a wide range of audiences, from other technical staff to



senior management. Individual should be a fast learner of new technologies, be a



creative thinker, share skills and information freely.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLILITIES:



. Provide technical consultation and development support for existing and new custom applications and



portal systems.



. Prepare technical specifications, design documentation, code walk-throughs,  test plans, and



documentation of completed code



. Design, maintain, and support enterprise application systems, web applications and portals, custom



reports, etc.



. Has the ability to work with various development tools, languages, and platforms.



. Collaborate effectively with programmers, IT staff, and Business Directors on development projects.



Help define requirements, and explain the capabilities and limitations of various systems.



. Provide assistance to other Programmer/Analysts



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



* 5+ years of application development experience using the Microsoft .NET Framework with C#, ASP.NET



and SQL Server



* 3+ years in web-based development using C# and ASP.NET in Microsoft IIS . 5+ years' experience in



database programming using Microsoft SQL Server and Transact SQL



* Strong understanding of SharePoint Server 2010, SharePoint Object Model, SharePoint Designer, and



development and implementation of SharePoint web parts



* Strong skills in HTML and web page design (JavaScript, CSS, document object model)



 * XML development experience a plus



* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent level of experience.
