Position: Senior Java Developer
Location: Bloomington, IL
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Qualifications:
Client is seeking a highly experienced Java developer that has a solid work history in developing IT solutions. The person chosen to fill the role will be responsible for the development of custom software applications and must have at least 5 years of experience working with Java technologies and can demonstrate a high degree of competency in Object Oriented concepts. The ideal candidate will have a practical experience working in a large and dynamic IT environment (greater than 5,000 IT professionals), contributed to enterprise software solutions, and have previous experience developing solutions to enhance or augment legacy systems. This is a senior level position and the individuals chosen must have an excellent set of verbal and written communications skills and have the ability to comfortably work with both technical and business partners to drive business solutions.
Skills & Responsibilities include:
5+ years of prior experience in software Quality Engineering for object oriented development with a solid understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control
· Experience in Java Development
· Experience in Salesforce Development
· Experience in UML Modeling
· Experience with Detailed Design Reviews and Code Reviews
· Competency with web application architecture and technologies, including multi-platform/browser support
· Leader of a development or technical team
· Passionate about building quality products
Ideal qualifications:
· Proficiency with Java programming language
· Proficiency with Salesforce application development
· Apex Triggers
· Visual Force Controllers
· Skilled in Spring and the Spring Tool Suite
· Skilled in Web Services Development with Apache CXF
· Hands-on experience with an automated UI testing tool across a variety of web browsers
· Experience with performance testing and/or backend automated testing
· Experience with Unit tests
· Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins)
· Experience with plugin development for Eclipse, Jenkins, and Maven
· Experience integrating other code quality tools such as code coverage and static analysis into the quality process
Required Qualifications:
· Java - J2EE
· Salesforce.com Application Development
· Spring/Spring Tool Suite
