Location: Schaumburg, IL
Contract: 6+ months  contract

Here are the details:
PL/SQL coding
Cognos 10.2, experience in 10.1 will work

Java - just need an understanding of it
Must be able to speak to the business clearly
Wireless experience is a bonus

1. Agile rapid deployment approach to development required
2. Strong Oracle SQL Skills for advanced network performance data
3. Ability to performance tune Oracle SQL queries and reports to ensure fast rendering of reports, drill-downs, and queries.
4. Ability to build cubes, drill-down, aggregated data reports using supporting database technology.
5. Ability to build web dashboards for multi-dimensional, multi-regional, and strong visualization of data
6. Ability to develop in Cognos BI and dashboards
7. Strong communication skills required

Skill Sets Required:
PL/SQL - Oracle
Java Development
Web Objects development

Scripting including:
UNIX utilities, such as grep, sed, awk.
Script languages, such as bash or korn, and Perl
CMDB (Configuration Management Database) Fundamentals
UNIX System Administration
Extract-Transform-Load ETL Capabilities (Talend, DataStage, Informatica)
Organizational abilities to prioritize work and report status weekly.
