Re: [ACEsthetics] T Scan and Orthotics

I have been using the T-Scan with my NTI's too! Very simple stuff! <g>

I really believe that the action of TENS and having a patient wear an NTI does much the same sort of deprogramming, and once I get someone to where there is no difference between their bite when they wake up and during the day, that part of adjusting their occlusion is done.

If they need more involvement, such as a change in vertical or an anterior rest position, then I use the orthotic. And Tens and T-Scan.

Would recommend TENS prior to/when finishing with tscan (in other words, use both). JMHO

I think Tom hedge was suing the T-scan but also tensing.
