The industry wants to know what one can contribute to the growth rather than the number of years of experience.

I do have service / experience letters obtained as and then .. also references in places where i worked.Though i tried to explain ... he was not convinced..I still work on Saturdays and Sundays... if this does not count anywhere in academics , why do the so called management heads expect faculty to have industry exposure / interaction all time ...
