Good to know that Prof. Ashish Nanda has been appointed as the new Director of IIMA. Prof. Nanda seems to have excellent credentials with his educational background from IITD and IIMA. I am sure under his directorship IIMA will not only maintain its leadership position, but also improve upon it.

Ashish was my classmate for seven years - five years at IIT Delhi and two years at IIM Ahmedabad. He has been a dear friend since the year 1976 when we entered IIT Delhi as teenagers. Both my IITD as well as IIMA batchmates are proud of this appointment.
