Business Systems Analyst   Job Summary As a member of the applications team, the Business Systems Analyst will document the requirement for new systems and enhancements to existing systems; Coordinate with business users and development group. Responsibilities Work with      Business and Product Manager to gather and detail requirements and serve      as a conduit between the business and the software development & QA      team. Help team      members to understand the requirements through all phases of assigned      projects, including define, analyze, construct, and deploy. Provides      direction to the team in terms of requirements. Experience      preparing business requirements, working with use Stories, Business      Process Modeling or Data Modeling, and other artifacts to aid the same      like Business Flow Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, UI prototypes. Ideally with      technical background in software development. Ability to      work efficiently both in a team environment and alone and unsupervised. Must think      logically and be detail oriented. Possess strong      Analytical, Problem-solving, and critical thinking skills Qualifications and Education Requirements Candidate with strong Waterfall and Agile/Scrum Methodology background. Strong      Analysis, Requirements Management skills, Ability to write Epic/ Stories      under Agile environment. Strong      communication and presentation skills. Knowledge      of Testing Methodologies, Process and ability to review Functional Test      cases. Self-starter      with leadership skills in order to take charge of or facilitate      requirement-gathering sessions. Quick learner      who is easily able to learn new products, systems, applications and      technologies. Some      Technical background in Web/ Database (SQL) technologies is preferred. DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong analytical skills and detail oriented ; Ability to multitask Excellent problem solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Local candidate preferred; Stable career history Previous Insurance / Re-Insurance Experience or Financial background.
