RE: [ACEsthetics] Great Contrast in Facial Form

God! He was young.  They are a great looking bunch no matter what their facial form.  She appears very young and the kids also.  As crass as it may sound, if she is interested she will have plenty of suitors.  She can have the pick of the litter.  Looks like they both did a great job first time around.  Death at that age is often devastating.

But the pool of good men out there is slim…sort of strange to get off on but something she will have to deal with either nay or yea.  I’ve got a 32 year old patient who is about 5’9” tall, drop dead gorgeous and shaped like you can’t imagine.  A lot of the shape came from playing all state basketball and some semi-pro B-Ball and then switching to semi-pro softball.

She finally moved back home after Dubai, California, and Seattle working for a major law firm. She hated Dubai and left before taking advantage of tax breaks.  She’s sort of like another daughter to me.  Mila is fixing a chipped implant central that she lost in a car accident that almost ruined her life but another story there.

The story is she told my older assistant that she was ready now to start dating seriously again and wanted Paula and me to start looking for a decent man.  She swears her parents and Paula and I are going to have veto power and I believe her.  She had a child by a great guy in California and he followed her here trying to marry her but she said it just was not right and would not be fair to either of them.  He deserved someone who loved him.

The really sad thing is we can think of no one in her peer bracket that is worthy or worth a damn for her to date.  70k people and not one decent unmarried man.  What is the world coming to?  Arun, you know anyone in Atlanta.  Tell them she’ll kick their ass in a pick up one on one basketball game but she’s a doll and simply drop dead gorgeous.

Subject: [ACEsthetics] Great Contrast in Facial Form

This family photo really demonstrates a lot.  These are friends  and patients of mine.  Hopefully it is a large enough image for you to see it.

The guy has a severely recessed lower face, both maxilla and mandible.  It is narrow and way back.  As you can see, when he smiles, his tongue has nowhere to go.  His tongue is actually where it would be (I suspect) if his lower face were more forward.  There is no room so it juts out and you can see his tongue clearly in this photo.  His wife on the otherhand, has a great lower face proportion.  She has plenty of room for her tongue and she shows teeth and not tongue.

It looks odd to see someone's tongue when they are smiling.

Sadly, in February, the dad died of a blood clot that lodged in his lung.  He was taken off blood thinners in order to have a minor surgery and the day after the surgery (at home) he died.  That was enough to create the blood clot that killed him.  It was quite unfortunate.
