I'm not sure I would say that.  I would say more Americentric, but that is understandable given how big you are and how dominant in the world.  Comes with the territory, to some degree.   It is not necessary to know as much about other countries when you grow up in the U.S. - Dubya had never even been to one before he was elected.

I not exactly sure what got Jeff miffed other than denying that we are the same.
