[MTC Global] Some clarifications : Arrangements & Logistics

Dear Sankalp 2013 participants

Based on some queries received, the following are the clarifications  and additional information for all concerned :

-  We have mentioned low/reasonable charge of Rs. 200 only per person each time for conveyance between Jodhpur railway station/airport/Hotel Basant Inn and campus since it would be provided on sharing basis. Those who would like to have exclusive arrangement would need to pay Rs. 600 each time, if anyone would like us to provide the same. Of course, they can have the private arrangements, for which the details have already been given earlier.
 
- Booking in Hotel Basant Inn is from the morning of 04 Oct 2013 to the evening of 06 Oct 2013. Those who are coming earlier and going late may kindly inform us so that the hotel can be advised accordingly.

- Those who are on double occupancy basis in Hotel Basant Inn will need to pay for single occupancy for the period the sharing person is not occupying the room.

- Tents will be available for occupying from the morning of 03 Oct 2013 till the evening of 07 Oct 2013, without any extra charges.

- High tea, lunch and dinner as per the Sankalp 2013 programme only are included in the registration fee or registration fee exemption, as the case may be, except for the invited speakers. For all other meals, the charges would be - Breakfast : Rs. 100 per person each time,  Lunch : Rs. 200 per person each time and Dinner : Rs. 200 per person each time. For this, you have to inform us minimum 24 hours in advance to enable  make arrangements for the same.
 
- I am again repeating what I had said earlier, since I find the queries are coming. With a view to keep the dealings simple and to ensure that we do not have to follow up for the balance payments including applicable taxes with the participants, we have decided to return back to you the amounts already paid by you for reservation of accommodation in Hotel Basant Inn by payable at par cheques when you arrive here for attending Sankalp 2013. In view of this, all those staying in Hotel Basant Inn would need to settle their bills in full themselves before they check out. Breakfast is included in the special rates for air-conditioned room agreed with the Hotel Basant Inn.

- Those who would like to make any changes in the accommodation, they need to inform us latest by 30 September 2013 alongwith the balance payment into Sankalp 2013 bank account.
