Skills Required and Job Description:

Summary: The main function of an Infrastructure/Systems Administrator is to install, configure, and support Citrix software and tools, including integration tasks for in-house developed systems and/or purchased software solutions within the technical infrastructure of the organization. A typical systems administrator is responsible for monitoring the network to ensure availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance and issue resolution. Job Responsibilities: Maintain and administer Citrix environments, including systems software, applications software, and all configurations. Perform disaster recovery operations. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and when necessary on/off-shift and during weekends. Configure, monitor and maintain virus protection software. Provide guidance and assistance to other team members. Work with vendors on integration of purchased application solutions. Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time as well as well as being a collaborative team member. Strong ability to identify, interpret and evaluate system and network requirements. Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue. Working knowledge of Windows Active Directory and Group Policies Fully knowledgeable of XenApp 6.5, Xendesktop 5.6, PVS 6.1 and Xenserver Netscaler, Citrix Access Gateway experience desired. PowerShell, VB scripting experience desired. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required. 5-6 years experience required.
