Client is seeking an Enterprise Project and Portfolio Management (EPM) Architect. In this role, you will architect and implement an integrated EPM solution for Ingersoll Rand using Microsoft Project Server 2013. You will collaborate with business partners to define requirements and design the EPM solution. After architecting a performing and reliable solution, you will collaborate again with business partners to validate and deploy the solution. Following deployment, you will maintain and support the solution to ensure reliable performance and effective adoption.

 

This role requires that you have:

·       Configured and used Microsoft Project to plan and track projects of various sizes, including large product development projects,

·       Configured and used Microsoft Project Server to plan and track resources in a large enterprise environment,

·    Provisioned, administered, and tuned a Windows Server environment for an enterprise application like Microsoft Project Server or Microsoft SharePoint,

·         Configured and tuned Microsoft SQLServer for optimal performance and reliability, and

·         Successfully architected and led implementation of enterprise applications for large organizations like Ingersoll Rand.

·         Demonstrated capability in development of an organization's operational standards for technology,

·         Demonstrated ability to analyze development efforts to determine the application's ability to accommodate technological growth, quality and re-usability, and

·         Ability to analyze areas of potential cost savings based on knowledge of the applications already in use within the organization.

·         To be successful in this role, you must also:

·         Demonstrate a strong capability to capture and translate concise understanding of

 Ingersoll Rand's business model, technical challenges and strategic goals,

·         Consistently demonstrate strong ability and motivation to learn and develop both technical skills and leadership competencies,

·   Communicate effectively with both non-technical business management and technical experts,

·         Frequently identify and apply innovative and effective solutions to both technical and business challenges,

·         Think beyond requested actions to ensure all actions are taken that are needed to achieve overall business objectives,

·         Show customer focus in responding promptly to urgent business needs while ensuring on-time completion of project deliverables, and

·         Demonstrate understanding of how the organization uses IT applications, their value and future state of the required technology infrastructure required to support the organization's technology direction and business plans.

·         You must have Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science,

Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Business Administration. You would also benefit from a Master's degree in one of these areas and PMI certification.
