Job Description:Job Title: Liferay/Java Developer
Location: Walnut Creek, CA
Duration: Long Term contract  

Minimum Qualifications:
· 5+ years using Portal technologies and APIs
· 5+ years' experience using J2EE, JSP, Servlets, XML, JSTL, etc.
· 5+ years application development experience integrating with enterprise services using web services and JMS.
· Experience using Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JQuery, YUI and DHTML.
· Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle
· Working knowledge of Tomcat 7 or WebLogic 10 or higher (or similar Application Servers)
· Working knowledge of Portal application using Liferay EE 6.1 or later
· Knowledge of SQL and PL-SQL Development
· Effective Communication Skills
· Ability to interface across multiple lines of business and technology groups
· Ability to cross train and be a team player

Preferred Skills:
· Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
· Proficiency with Windows, UNIX operating systems
· Java/J2EE application architecture experience
· Knowledge of Oracle objects and PL/SQL tables.
· Experience with LDAP and Active Directory lookup and authentication
· Experience implementing web accessibility standards (WAI-ARIA)
· Ability to understand new technologies and their impact as business solutions
· Ability to think strategically about technical direction, engineering practices, and business practices.
