Location: NJ

 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support new features and functions in various systems with a focus on development within our cloud-based product family, using VisualForce, APEX, web-services, and other elements of the Salesforce force.com platform
• Develop/integrate new technologies to be added to our suite of offerings supporting marketing, sales and business technology automation for clients
• Assist with various API development and integration projects
• Assist with support for contracted clients and internal staff
• Track projects and time spent for costing models and forecasts using internal project management system

Skills

The qualified candidate should possess:

• Good working knowledge of various Salesforce force.com platform elements, e.g. Visualforce, Apex classes/triggers, web services, force.com APIs, CRM workflow, security models, and integration techniques.
• Working knowledge of object-oriented programming and at least one major OO language/environment (e.g. Java, C#) SQL, XML, JavaScript, Ajax, PHP, and HTML.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply platform capabilities in both packaged and custom environments.
• Current knowledge of software engineering best practices.
• Ability to meet development time lines and project deadlines.
• Passion for developing new technologies and integrating best-of-breed technologies to current platform.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment as a member of cross-functional team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Four-year degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
