are influential Africans only limited to politicians? where is the name of cheikh anta diop! it is a disgrace that an African magazine will leave out the name of someone who had already been selected as one of the two most influential black people (he and dubois).

Correction: Mugabe and Miriam Makeba appear to be already on the list. The others were not included. It appears Africans usually go by sentiments rather than rigorous research.
