@Pa Fru and Manu: both of you should take a stroll down to Dearborn, Michigan or to Hyderabad, India. You will notice that neither GM, Ford, Suzuki, Mitsubishi Motors manufacture all components of cars themselves, including some of the parts that you cite. Dearborn, MI and Hyderabad in India are filled with sub-contractor companies that produce components for major auto manufacturing companies. Check out www.methode.com for example. I particularly know this company because associations I have had with that company. There are to a of other companies. The reason why Dearborn has the most Indian American settlers is because a lot of these companies hire Indian engineers on H-1b visas and have them come work for them. Some of these companies also have plants in India, China or UK or Mexico.

Neither GM, ford , Toyota or any major auto company I know manufactures tires. Firestone or Continental or Yokohama are separate companies. In fact Continental has a plant not too far off from Dearborn.

So leave Innoson alone. They're not doing anything different from what major companies do.
