Systems Integration and Test Engineer
ATLANTA, GA
Project need ongoing – 3 month contract integrals

 

Seeks a Systems Integration and Test Engineer to provide the testing and integration of Client and third party products such as Digital Network Control System (DNCS), Application Server, QAM, QPSK, Netcrypt, VOD, Back Office, Unified Headend components (UPM, BSM, DRM Servers and Catalog Manager) as well as network switches and routers.   

 

The ideal candidate requirements:
A demonstrated ability to review product requirements and development and industry specifications, as well as write and execute test plans.
Demonstrates the ability to learn new technologies and related testing techniques quickly to keep up with rapidly evolving industry trends.
Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
Provide support to development team by tracking, verifying and resolving errors.
Coordinate with Release Engineering to develop standard regression tests when features become part of a release
Specify and implement verification environment
Assist with maintenance of test networks and test lab.
Debug moderate complexity problems to identify problem areas.
Able to independently develop and/ or implement product based test strategies.
Ability to understand APIs and execute test cases at this level
BSEE/CS plus 4-7+ yrs related experience, or a MSEE/CS combined with 3-4 years of related experience. 

 

Knowledge of the following:
Jenkins
RHEL or Linux Administration
Networking & Protocols (CCNA Detailed functional knowledge)
SSH, TCP/UDP,HTTP
REST & SOAP (Detailed functional knowledge)
VMware
LSCP, RTSP, NGOD, DSM-CC(SSP2.3), ISA, Industry recognized On-Demand architectures
DVB Simulcrypt
DCM
Scripting a plus (python, perl, java script
