Role : IBM/AIX -SYSTEMS ANALYST II
Location : Austin, TX.
Duration: 10 Months
DESCRIPTION:
Ø Worker will work on the design, configuration and optimization of existing and new enterprise AIX/Power infrastructure and systems.
WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :
Ø Expert-level knowledge/experience with installation, administration, tuning, performance and maintenance of enterprise AIX/Power architecture, infrastructure and systems including LPARs, NIM, Power, VIOS, HMC, LVM, LPM, MPIO, VLAN, SVC, security and related enterprise-grade technology knowledge necessary for highly available, redundant systems.
Ø Strong working-knowledge of IBM enterprise storage technologies including SAN Volume Controllers and DS-series disk systems is necessary.
WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
Ø 8 Installation/administration of AIX in an enterprise environment
Ø 5 Installation/administration of IBM enterprise storage (SVC, DS8xxx)
Ø Certification or Equivalent IBM Certified Advanced Technical Expert - AIX" and/or "Certified Systems Expert – AIX" (or clearly demonstrable equivalent experience/knowledge)
Preferences:
Ø Years Skills/Experience
Ø 5 Cisco SAN fabric knowledge.
