Skills Required and Job Description:

UAT Test Lead.  This is a backfill for one of our
consultants and someone either from a QA or a BA background will work provided
they have extensive experience in UAT.

 

Location: El Segundo, CA

Duration: 6 months+ (There may be extensions)

Interview: 1) Phone 2) In Person ( Required for ALL
candidates even those that are non-local)

Job Description below.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for defining,
         planning and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scope, objectives and
         deliverables to support business testing goals in collaboration with
         management, project stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Managing, planning and
         organizing project UAT activities, including the UAT kick-off, script
         writing, environment and data set-up, problem ticket creation and
         management, and daily as well as release  status reporting
  • Assessing UAT needs for
         systems, processes and tools and implement projects for UAT scalability
  • Developing testing artifacts
         (Test Approach, Test Plan, Traceability Matrix, Test scripts, Test Summary
         Report) for each assigned release
  • Responsible for identifying
         test scenarios, test case development and test case execution
  • Managing quality assurance
         activities relative to software development and release cycles including
         incidents, problem tickets, defects, enhancements, versioning, etc.
  • Supporting the process of
         estimating the hours as it pertains to each project, sprint and individual
         enhancement/defects
  • Partnering with business,
         operations, and training teams to ensure end-to-end operating model
         procedures are defined and tested
  • Responsible for defect meeting
         preparation and facilitation for assigned applications / partnership with
         IT on applications, Lead business teams through defect management
  • Taking responsibility for the production and approval
         of all testing deliverables and achievement of testing milestones during
         the project
  • Interfacing and negotiating with customer with regards
         to project estimates, schedules and deliverables including managing
         requirements, reviews, obtaining acceptance plans and feedbacks
  • Ensuring that any risks
         associated with the agreed test strategy and the test plan are clearly
         documented and described to the client and project team
  • Developing daily / weekly
         status reports on the state of testing, defect management, schedule and
         risks.
  • Leading the post-launch quality
         and incorporate the feedback/root cause into testing process
