EEI is looking for a Senior Teradata Architect/Subject Matter Expert in support of a Performance Optimization initiative for a large global financial institution.  The Teradata Architect will be responsible for advising and facilitating on operating principles, standards and best practice guidelines. 
 
Job Duties:

• Work closely with and assist the application owners to evaluate existing usage, implementation, processing performance and root cause analysis (incidents and outages)
• Evaluate existing standards against industry practices 
• Document and assess current use cases
• Review roadmap, implementation plan and upgrade path
• Identify operational improvement opportunities including the elimination of manual intervention
• Facilitate adoption and implementation of performance enhancements & new features
• Evaluate integration with other solutions including DProp and Informatic

 
Required Skills/Background:

• 10-15 years Teradata experienced
• Subject Matter Expertise in Teradata Data Architecture Practices and Standards
• Relevant experience in Teradata:
  • Unified Data Architecture
  • Database
  • Active/Enterprise Data Warehouse
  • Tools & Utilities
• Skilled and experienced in Teradata Optimization & Strategy related engagements  
• Experienced and knowledgeable in Enterprise Data & Infrastructure Standards
• Experienced in analyzing, troubleshooting and apply best practice for usage
