Dear Sir, I really wonder what is the innovative approach to a problem of payment
default on Outstanding debt? Are we not deluding ourselves by letting the loans go
bad and looking for ways to compensate for this loss by some other means.
If the innovative approach is to show the NPA as a good asset and then issue NCDs
for a charge on these assets is to pass the buck to ignorant and unsuspecting
people. I think that any other method short of grasping the nettle is to fool
ourselves. I don't think any predetermined computer based decision will be
adequate.
