Good one. I just wanted to share something which is amazing and it is fact, please read below -

"A total of 24 per cent teachers have failed the competency test. Out of 43,447 applicants who took the test, 32,833 teachers cleared the test," Principal Secretary (Education) Amarjeet Sinha told IANS.

The teachers were tested for knowledge of English, Mathematics, Hindi and General Knowledge for up to Class 5.

This is the fate of our teachers, and now we know what standard our teaching is reduced. Only thing what we have achieved with "SARVA SHIKSHA ABHIYAN" is that we have made our school going kids physically fit and not mentally fit. We are spending on Mid day meal scheme, free uniforms,sweaters,cycles, eggs, milk etc etc but not on good education.Instedad of calling it as 'SARVA SIKSHA ABHIYAN" government should rename it as "SARVA SWASTHYA ABHIYAN"
